England - Dover to London

The Royal Exchange was London’s first purpose built trading centre. It was set up in 1566 by a wealthy merchant, Sir Thomas Gresham, considered the father of English banking. Queen Elizabeth I awarded it the royal title and a license to sell alcohol.
